Dear Stone's Customer,
In 1984 the National PTA established the first full week
in
May as Teacher Appreciation Week. This year we
celebrate teachers the week of May 4th - 10th. We
hope
that you will join us in the store for some fun,
lots of giveaways, and special discounts.
Each weekday, May 5th - 9th, we will be placing all of
the merchandise from one of our top vendors on a
20% off sale. We're finalizing the vendors right now,
and will provide all the details in the next couple of
weeks.
We'll also be conducting a raffle each day, and will
give each winner a basket of some really great
merchandise. And of course, what would a celebration
week be without refreshments...
In this newsletter, we're also highlighting
our favorite tool to help everyone
thank their favorite teacher for all of his or her hard
work throughout the school year. We'll also be
highlighting some new products that we think are
pretty special. And finally, we're going to be holding
our first ever Brain Quest Challenge in May, at 10 a.m.
on Saturday the 17th.
And really finally, now is the time to get your
students/children ready for end of year testing. We
have a huge selection of materials that are designed
in accordance with state standards, loaded with
practice questions, explanations, and strategies. We
also have an entire section devoted to homework
helpers, in all subjects and from preK up to 8th grade.
And don't forget Summer Bridge, the award winning
series from Carson-Dellosa loaded with fun yet
educational activities designed to keep students from
forgetting everything they've learned during the school
year. At the bottom of this newsletter, you'll find a 20%
off coupon for all of these great resources.

We've heard from many of our customers that one of
the most useful things we ever created was our on-line
Teachers Wishlist Registry. It's a great tool for both
teachers and parents. We're now nearing the end of
the school year, and many parents would like to buy
something for a favorite teacher to express their
appreciation for a great year. The parents often never
really know what to buy, and it can be an awkward
thing for the teachers.
Teachers can click here for easy to follow
detailed full-color instructions for setting up your wish
list. You can even print them out if you wish. And you
can always contact us here at the store if you need
further assistance. Please ask for David.
You can even suggest or purchase on-line gift
certificates. For those of you parents receiving this
who like the wish list registry idea and don't think that
your children's teachers know about it, please invite
them to check it out.

Many of you know that we carry the complete selection
